This GE Corded Speakerphone features 2 line operation with a digital answering system and Bluetooth technology. It has corded power failure protection, a base duplex speakerphone and a multi-function scroll wheel for easy operation. It also features a convenient USB charging port, a large tilt display and last 10 number redial. Additional features include a real time clock, 10 selectable ringtones, trilingual menus, hold, conference calling, and is desk and wall mountable. The caller ID stores 50 names and numbers, has call waiting and phonebook matching, indicates waiting voice messages, and stores the caller ID to the phonebook. The phonebook feature allows alphabetical searching, holds up to 6200 names and numbers, and even allows access during a phone call. The answering system includes 30 minutes recording time, a 2 line answering system with a separate mailbox for each, call screening and interrupt and remote message retrieval. A good phone, untill you start using speakerphone

Purchased from local big electronics store for about 40% less. Used it for two days and it's going back. I have been using a AT&T 992 for close to four years and I had high hopes on this phone, but bad speakerphone quality broke the deal. I spend several hours a day on conference calls, so having a good speakerphone is a must. The voice quality was choppy as though it's gasping for more power. Voice quality through handset is okay. If you don't care about speakerphone, this is an okay phone, as long as you don't pay too much money.Pros:1. Good looking2. USB port on the side for charging phone3. Bright and big display4. Bluetooth download for address book.5. Bluetooth headset option, although it's pretty basicCons:1. BAD SPEAKERPHONE - voice quality choppy and tinny.2. Buttons are not high enough and poor tactile touch. Fingers touch the phone while pressing the non-numeric keys, this could wear off color and might show dirt on silver background3. No 2.5 headset jack4. Volume dial and CID up/down buttons difficult to operate5. Screen back light cannot be adjusted (minor issue)6. Bluetooth options are pretty basic. Can't control headset volume.

Not an office phone

I would not buy this item as a small business phone. It is difficult to see and a royal pain to use. I sent this phone back (I had purchased 2) and purchased 2 of the RCA 25204RE1 1-Handset 2-Line Landline Telephone which are great phones for a small business and the price was great at $39.15. I would not buy this phone the (Speakerphone with Digital Answering System, Caller ID, and Bluetooth Technology (30385EE1)). I would purchase the (RCA 25204RE1 1-Handset 2-Line Landline Telephone), which I never had problems with. But I was seeking the bluetooth technology. However, no phones were great for a small office so I went back the to old faithful phone RCA 25204RE1 1-Handset 2-Line Landline Telephone.

Great phone with bells and whistles

I too purchased this phone at a big box store, on a whim, at a point of purchase display just because it caught my eye and was on sale. As a semi geeky senior I was happy with my old Panasonic home/desk phone. Thought it did all it was supposed to and it did. Problem is technology moved on and my phone was a dinosaur compared. I like toys. This is a modern great looking phone and does what a phone does PLUS.....I could ditch my Plantronics wired head set I have used for years and add their Plantronics voyager pro HD blue tooth ear piece (see my review there) for perfect reception without a leash, even as good as talking on the hand piece, download my Cell phone address book, add contacts simply, announce messages waiting even tho I don't use the digital answering system and use Vonage, (update....I now use Ooma) ....and probably even more I just couldn't care about. Also phone support from GE for some of my silly questions (not big on manuals) were answered professionally and quickly without making me feel dumb for asking. Its a modern looking desk phone that does all its supposed to do and much more. Its a phone! Don't quite understand the other negative review. I did pay much less than the $109.
