I initially bought this for my secretary- a slave I purchased from a third world nation, and it was great. The large print numbers are good as he is still learning English. It isn't cordless, so I wish I had splurged on the cordless model. I'm disappointed in the sound quality, slightly muffled, I thought it would be better. I am also disappointed by the lack of an answering machine. Oh well, that's what slaves are for
