Excellent for Group Conferencing

Got the CHAT 150 USB Group Speakerphone for work, to be used in large group video conferencing sessions, to handle 12 - 20+ people in a large conference room. It's excellent! Plug&Play, and simple to use. The long USB cable that comes with the unit is great to reach across a long conference table. The audio quality is fantastic, capable of being nicely loud while still clear, and the remote person(s) can hear very well, including some softer sounds in the far corners of the room. With PC based video conferencing becoming more popular, we may eventually get several more of these units towards making more of our meeting rooms video conferencing-ready.

Excellent product for Skype

I purchased the Clear One Chat 150 usb for a large college classroom. I felt the unit wouldn't be big enough as a single unit to pickup 20 voices and for those students to hear the response from the distant end clearly. Although I was right (I need the twin version of the same), the performance of the single unit was VERY impressive. For use in the average office or modest size conf. room you can't beat this. Although a bit expensive for home use, if you have an older user that might need lots of speaker gain and still not fumble with microphones this could be your ticket. The setup is super easy, plug in the usb cable and when Skype loads it asks to use the chat 150 as the audio device. If you simply answer yes it loads the software and makes many adjustments instantly; that is it.

Works great, clear voice and microphone pic up and easy to set up. Would recommend to anyone doing video conferences.
