Very nice.

I probably should get hearing aids, but this phone is working quite well. Instruction book left a bit to be desired and I had to call to get instructions that were not in the pamphlet. The incoming sound on the speaker phone cannot be raised as high as I would like, thus the 4 stars, but the handset volume is fine. I would like more than 5 one button programed numbers, as my previous phone had 30! I still have not figured out how to use all the features. More reading to do.

Nice Phone

I liked this phone, it had very good sound quality and the caller ID was always lit and very easy to read. The problem I had was that I'm a quadriplegic and I use a mouth stick to push the buttons on the phone. The buttons were very hard to push so I wasn't able to dial the phone. Other then having difficulty pushing the buttons I thought this was a great phone, but unfortunately I had to return the phone because of this issue.

Does what it says!

I do love this phone. Lots of bells and whistles! It does do a very good job of amplifying and the audio Caller ID is a really nice convenience. The display is easy to read and you have several options on the backlighting. Audio is pretty clear, but the best part is that you have volume controls. Speaker phone - good on my end - other party says I sound far away, but audible. Headphones have not background noise. The audio on normal setting is low, but when I hit "amp" it is perfect.Reasons not 5 stars: 1) the buttons require a firm touch to push, 2) the phone book does not allow for a search. if you have 30 numbers in there, you will need to just scroll through to find the numbers. 3) audio caller id calls out the number only unless you program it specifically for each number. IOW, if a new caller comes in and the ID reads "Smith Inc" with the number, it will only call out the number, not "Smith Inc". It does, however, ID "private".
