Great, easy to use phone for work

Great Phone. We have a few thousand of them at work. Much easier to use than the IP phone from my last employer. I use a headset for conference calls and the sound quality is fantastic. Happy to have the Cisco phone.

Bought 20 and two months in two have failed

The phone looks nice, looks like it's of good construction. I have a feeling I'm paying about a 30% premium just based on it's name. I expected more of these devices. We have had two fail in the last two months.Cisco replaced it without a headache so that was at least good. I'm disappointed in the failure rate and in such a short time. I may update this later to let you know how these phones are doing in a year or two.

Good phone for the money

This is a great deal. It is still being supported by Cisco, so firmware upgrades should be available. I have a whole bunch of 7940s and these 7942Gs are far better.
