5Save hours on troubleshooting
By Gregory A. Jasinski
For the price the unit is much more. I don not strictly used it for POE, I really like the 1000il for its quick response to recognition of type of line, pairs and speed. Great, love it...Strongly recommend it, you can go wrong for that price. The unit is well made as well sturdy and it can take minor drops ie. floor.

2PoE Visibility, with questions
By rsgmodelworks
This PoE tester shows voltage, current and some cabling details. It runs off a 9volt battery so pack spares. The product as shipped did work, but it gave mixed results. A D-Link unmanaged PoE switch yielded reasonable measurements. The Power Panel claims a Phihong midspan outputs 52 volts (out of a possible 48 volts for PoE) and so I'm not sure you can trust it's numbers.IF it works reasonably then at (under $150) it is probably worth owning if you debug PoE deployments.
