Pleased customer

Well, I finally had a chance to set up the phone and register the four hand sets. The phone and answering machine is incredibly clear. My last answering machine I would have to play back 10 or 15 times trying to understand the phone number on the incoming call. This machine I can get the message the first time. The four hand sets are the same way. I am pleased with my purchase, and I would recommend this phone to other people. I was surprised when I opened the boxes and found that it came with four hand sets and the base station. The advertising was misleading when I was doing my research I wasn't sure how many I was going to receive. Some of the pictures only showed three hand sets. Four worked out perfect I have one in my shed in the yard.

Disappointing

We bought this phone based on research Amazon and other sites. The recommendations were positive. We find the phone system to be disappointing.The navigation of the features is cumbersome, much more difficult than my former system.The handsets are very light, falling over at the merest brush of your sleeve. The dock is also flimsy and light, difficult to place on a table as the stiff power cord will interfere with the set up.Also, the sound volume is inconsistent, sometimes fading, then becoming louder.

PRETTY GOOD!

I detest the phones that are being sold at places like Best Buy and Staples. Absolutely detest them. They're junky, too small, and none of them fit my ear. They're just crap! I sometimes wonder if they're made in China for Chinese midgets. You'd think these electronics manufaturers could do better and try to raise customer return because I've thrown a number of these things in the trash and won't go back to that brand again. I encourage folks not to buy the junk phones at those big box stores.That said, I looked at this phone and it seemed substantially better than others and, after seeing the rave reviews here, decided to try the whole set of 5. Why not, for 125 bucks I could do worse. Got it delivered almost the next day and I'm satisified. Good AT&T quality, fits my ear (I figured that out in a store), and the sound quality is very good. The screens aren't that good but, eh, I'll live with it. Can't give it any more than 4 stars for now since I just hooked it up. I'll report back later.
