AT&T CL81301 DECT 6.0
By Beekah Myce
We bought this system to replace an older, less-than-satisfactory, Panasonic system. The system comes with three units, but we also bought a fourth unit for our fourth location. We are very pleased with the new system and recommend it.

Sporadic performance
By Grandma of 8
Setting up the phones was easy but so far I haven't been thrilled with the performance. Sometimes calls will drop for no reason, then can't even dial out to call the dropped party back. Sometimes there's static on the calls - never had these problems with the old phones we replaced. Thought about sending them back but didn't because of the hassle of shipping, etc.

How to reset the registration without the registered base
By rw
I just bought these phones open box from A4C through Amazon and they worked great once I found out how to get them working. The handsets all came up saying the base was out of range instead of being ready to be registered. It turns out that the base that came with the handsets was not the exact same base the handsets were registered to, so when you follow the directions to "unregister all phones" from that base, it does nothing because the handsets weren't registered to that base anyway! Some other open box customer no doubt got the base these handsets were registered to! Anyway, the way to fix it is to charge the handset, then press the sequence *331734#MenuSelect (including the asterisk and the hash mark). The handset will power cycle then come up saying it is ready to register (see User Manual). At that point just put the handset into the base station (not into one of the charging stations) and it will register itself and be ready to operate. I would have given five stars just to have that magic key sequence included in the User Manual.
