Works great with Google Voice!

I'm 30 - never thought I'd by a landline telephone in my life.Have gone my whole adult life with only a cell phone. After getting a Google Nexus cell phone, I decided to port my cell number to Google Voice to get all of those great features. Because Google Voice can send a call to multiple different numbers, I decided to take the basically free landline telephone service Comcast was pushing on me.Am so glad I did. It's such a pleasure to use a real handset, rather than a cell that can heat up during a long call.These handset units are very clear (I live in a high rise apartment building, no interference though). The handsets are light, but have a good grip feel. Can hold the handset next to my ear using my shoulder, unlike my cell.The menu system is archaic, very 20th century, but seriously it's a cordless phone what do you expect. That being said, it is intuitive, which came in handy when I wanted to use its "Block Number" feature when some telemarketer called the new Comcast number directly.

Doesn't last

We've had this phone 7 months and now all the displays are not working and the keypad on the hard wire phone doesn't work at all. Don't get this phone!
