5saved me from buying a complete phone ( hand set + receiver)

this phone has easily the longest range that i've ever used ! it will be crystal clear at about a 1000 ( one thousand ) ft !it does not have a lot of features ( that are easily accessible anyway ) of other phones of today but more thanmakes up for it in range . i almost never use all those bells and whistles anyway - so i don't miss them.the phone is a little pricy but i use it everyday at work. perfect if you need a no-nonsense phone withvery long range! i was ready to buy a WHOLE new phone ( receiver + handset ) for about $ 600 when i found thisat amazon. i forgot what i paid for the handset but it was almost half of the cost .
